Performance Network Theatre, Williamston  Theatre, Blackbird Theatre, Planet Ant and Mason Street Warehouse
announce joint General auditions for their 2008-2009 seasons running September through  August.  

Auditions will be held on:
Sunday, March 9 from  6:00pm – 10:00pm (Performance Network, Williamston Theatre, Blackbird  Theatre, Planet Ant)
Monday, March 10 from 2:00pm-8:00pm (Performance Network, Williamston Theatre, Blackbird Theatre, Planet Ant and Mason Street Warehouse)

Performance Network theatre is located at 120 East  Huron, just one half block east of main street in downtown Ann  Arbor.
 
Please bring 6 copies of a headshot and resume and be  prepared to present 1 or 2 contemporary monologues with a total length of no  longer than 3 minutes.  
If you wish to be considered for musicals, you may substitute 16 bars of a song (please bring sheet music or  your own accompaniment) in place of the second monologue.
Blackbird Theatre encourages actor/musicians to perform a song accompanying themselves on piano, guitar, etc. Repertoire can include musical theatre selections or other material. Piano available.

Auditioners for Mason Street  Warehouse musicals should prepare two contemporary musical theatre songs (or  country western songs for Das Barbecu), and bring their book in case they are  asked to sing something else.  Play auditioners should prepare As Bees In  Honey Drown sides, posted at www.sidesexpress.com <http://www.sidesexpress.com> .


Audition  appointments are required and can be made beginning Friday, February 29 by  calling
(734) 663-0681 between 11am and 6pm Monday through  Saturday.  MSW appointments should be made  by calling 269-857-4898.

Actors will be notified by the theatres individually  if they are being invited to callbacks, which are not currently scheduled.  
Information regarding available roles has not been finalized; as much  specific production information will be made available at the audition as  possible.
  
Performance Network and Williamston Theatre  operate under an SPT Tier 4 contract with Actors’ Equity Association and  employs Equity and non-Equity actors.
Mason Street Warehouse operates  under an SPT modified Tier 8 contract with Actors’ Equity Association and  employs Equity and non-Equity actors.
