Auditions: August 22 & 23, 2007 (Callbacks August 24, 2007) from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill, corner of Ridge & Cherry Hill Roads in Canton. (Attend one session only) Arrive anytime between 6:30 and 9 pm and be prepared to stay for 30–45 minutes. Enter the Village Theater through the stage door (off Presidential Way) at the rear of the building. Note that some parking areas behind the theater are restricted to area residents or theater staff.
Roles for Adults and Kids!
Adult auditioners (age 16+) should prepare a 1-minute monologue along with 16 bars of a song of your choosing (not from the show) and come dressed to move. Parents of children (ages 6–15) who are interested in auditioning should visit the Destination Theatre website at www.destinationtheate.org, download the Audition Packet for Kids and Parents (PDF) and review it carefully. Song selections and short scripts are provided for kids to prepare, and the packet contains important information for parents, along with an audition form to complete prior to arrival at auditions.
Note that there is a $125 participation fee for children cast in the show.
